Mr. Richard C. Capraun, Principal

Richard received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Education, specializing in Industrial Arts/Technical Education, from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 1994. He also earned his K-12 Principals certificate, Cooperative Education, Supervisor of Vocational Education, as well as the Administrative Director's certificates from IUP.

Mr. Capraun has taught grades 6-12 in traditional, comprehensive and vocational schools along with 2 years of administrative experience. His primary areas of expertise are in Engineering Technology, Carpentry, and Cabinet Making. He has also worked for Penn State University as a faculty member. His duty's included presenting at conferences, organizing professional development, and supervising new vocational instructors.

Mr. Capraun is a professional member of the Pennsylvania Career and Technical Administrators, the Association of Career and Technical Education, and the Association of Career and Technical Education Research. He is also an Organizational leader for 4-H and Game Commission Hunter Education instructor.
